MOUNT ETNA, SICILY – Etna Wine School is proud to announce its 2025 Etna Ambassador Certificate™ Program is now open for enrollment. This exciting and unforgettable week-long course will take place on Mount Etna, in Sicily, from MAY 11-17, 2025.
Etna Wine School launched this wonderful program in 2023 and thirteen students successfully become the first Certified Etna Ambassadors™ in the world. The Etna Ambassador Certificate™ Program is an adult education course for sommeliers, journalists, wine students, and enthusiasts with an interest in the volcanic wines of Sicily.
Our 2025 Program focuses on the wines of Europe’s largest active volcano and includes engaging lectures with experts, educational winery visits and guided tastings with Etna producers and educators, an exhilarating excursion up Mount Etna with our lead volcanologist, a sensory course about Etna wines, and a final exam for candidates seeking the Etna Ambassador Certificate™.
