It’s nice writing a book. You get to dive in to the weeds of research, interviews, and editing to find the little pieces of gold that tie the story together.

It’s also nice to read a book, and speak with the author after you’ve closed the cover and placed it on the shelf.

Doriana Briguglia, of L’IsolaBella recently contacted me with a few questions about Etna wines and the story behind my book, The New Wines of Mount Etna. Rather than handle questions by email, or text, we decided to meet online and share it with you.
