We’ve all seen a lot of changes this year. In the archives of history, 2020 will go down as a time of adaptation and evolution for citizens and businesses around the world. This is also true for Etna Wine School.

In the coming weeks we will be launching a new website with all the functionality of the current website and an online digital classroom for distance learners interested in the wines of Mount Etna.

Etna Wine School 2.0 | Coming Soon !

Our first online course — An Introduction to Mount Etna Wines — will be ready when the new website goes live. Using curated videos and selected readings, the course includes elements of Etna’s history, geology, vine growing, and of course the wines currently being produced on the volcano. It’s the perfect primer for wine students, sommeliers, and content creators with an interest in these inimitable wines.

For anyone interested in deeper learning, our Etna Ambassador Certificate and Etna Scholar tracks will be available soon. For those in the trade, who are interested in single subjects (i.e.; indigenous Etna grapes or specific wines) we’ve made it easy to study individual modules of the Ambassador program using our unique a la carte menu.

Online Courses for beginners, experts, and content creators

In order to make all of this happen, we’ll have to put the existing website into maintenance mode (beginning September 1, 2020) while we debug the new website and test all functionalities of our new learning platform, including exams, and account systems for incoming Etna Wine School students.

If you have any questions, or you’d like information about our new online learning platform, feel free to sign up for our occasional newsletter, OR contact us using our online form, OR send an email to info[@]etnawineschool[.]com

I look forward to hearing from you. Be well, stay safe, and keep in touch.

— Benjamin Spencer
Director, Etna Wine School
